PITMAN HIGH SCHOOL BAND & PAGEANTRY FESTIVAL AT SEA February 15 – 18, 2008 October 8, 2007 Dear Parents and Students, We’re going to take the cruise. I wish to continue the idea of a large trip every other year. I also feel too many of the older students will feel hurt if we do not take a large trip. I know they have been looking forward to it since Hawaii. There are also a number of kids who as freshmen didn’t go to Hawaii, so if we don’t do this, they will graduate without taking a large trip. We will make a minor trip to an amusement park or similar destination next year (Spring ’09), and very likely look at Hawaii again for the Spring 2010 trip. These trips are not mandatory. We will need a deposit and the commitment form completed so that we can book this trip with the travel agent. Once booked the entire cost must be paid according to the payment schedule. The prices will be set on the cost for the entire group divided by the number of committed participants. Cancellations with non-payment will result in a price increase for the remaining participants. This is a group trip. Cost per person: Inside Student (quad) $615.00 per person Inside Adult (double) $655.00 per person Payment Schedule: 10/12/2007 $100.00 With signed commitment form (All amounts are minimums) 11/1/2007 $265.00 12/1/2007 $125.00 (Adults $165.00) 1/10//2008 $125.00 In addition, each student (or adult without credit card) will need to deposit $100 onto their shipboard account to cover incidentals. Any remaining balance will be refunded at the reception desk on the morning of disembarkation. This payment is due on 1/20/08. A valid US passport is required for this sailing. A valid foreign passport along with a valid Alien Registration Card is also acceptable. Passport fee is $97.00 per person 16 and over and $82.00 per person under 16. Recommended application by October 15, 2007. Each participant in this trip must submit the attached commitment form.
